Everything you need to know about keywords

This is the fourth lesson of the Search Engine Optimization Guide lessons, in which we will talk about keywords.

When I started 216, I was motivated only by the desire to help young people, and to introduce them to the size of the opportunities and possibilities available through online business and marketing.

My whole goal was to disseminate my knowledge and information, without paying attention to the right way to disseminate this knowledge and information.

I didn’t care about identifying the keywords around which my topics would turn, and I didn’t care basically to know what research words these young people, whom I would like to help, use.

In fact, this has made my time and effort not the result it deserves.

Luckily for me, I learned my lesson quickly. I realized the importance of searching for keywords before writing a topic, and understood how to use them correctly.

This actually paid off and the results of my subjects’ appearance were completely different in search engines.

What are Keywords?

Keywords and semantic words are all terms that refer to one thing.

Keywords: Key phrases that are targeted by site owners, creators, or web pages creators, for the purpose of releasing search results for these words.

Keywords are the other side of search query.

Search Query is the word that is actually used by search engine users to access content on the Internet.

The keyword is the word that is targeted in a content, as an attempt to define search engines that the content revolves around that word.

Of course, Sieu professionals use search words as a source for keywords. This means that there is often a perfect match or match in the meaning, between keywords and search words.

But that’s not the only scenario (there are a lot of people who use keywords randomly in their subjects like I used to).

In fact, everything that happens on the Internet starts by typing a keyword in a search engine. Knowing these search words enables us to understand the user’s need, and then create content that corresponds to that user’s needs.

In order to reach your target visitors, you must use the right keywords on your site pages.

Of course, this is not enough for you to appear in the initial results, so you think search engines go beyond just getting the right words and using them.

The idea of keywords is very similar to learning the language of who you want to talk to. There is no better way to communicate an idea to your audience than to learn how to express it.

There is no way to identify their method, except by knowing and understanding the research words they use in the search.

Keywords types

Keywords are divided into three types, depending on the length of the keyword, respectively:

Short-tail keywords

This type has short keywords consisting of only one or two words. Keywords are also very general. So they get a very high percentage of research.

Competition for these words is also difficult, especially for new sites.

An example of these words: cars, diet, courses.

Medium-tail keywords

These types of keywords are larger (short sentences) and more specialized, compared to general and short keywords. Competition for them is medium-difficult.

An example of these words: jeeps, diets for pregnant women, English courses.

Long-tail Keywords

This type of keyword is a long, specialized and more targeted sentence. Competition for them is at the lowest level compared to before (this does not mean that it is easy for any site owner).

The level of search for these words is also at its lowest level compared to the other two types.

An example of these words: 2017 jeep cars used for sale, a diet system for pregnant women without exercise, and free English courses for beginners.

Where do I put keywords on the pages of my site?

Once you have the right keywords, you need to know wherever on your site pages, you should put these keywords. It is assumed here that the keyword is the central word around which the content of your web page revolves.

Your goal here is to get Google and the visitor together to understand that this web page is talking about it. So you have to use this keyword, intelligently, wisely and in the right places. These are the most important places to put the keyword in:

Page title (In Title)

The page title is almost the most important element on each web page, very important to have the keyword in the address for the visitor and search engines together.

Page Link (In URL)

Links are the way search spiders use to move from one web page to another. Having the keyword in the page link will give an idea of the content of the page to search engines, and is also important to the user.

Page Description (In Description)

Although Google has announced that page description is not an important element in improving search engines, this item still matters to the user, and still appears in search results.

Also, when a user’s search word matches a description, it appears in bold in search results.

In the content of the text page (In Body)

You should use the keyword in the content of the page, if the content of the page is an article, for example: you can put the keyword in the front of the article, and sometimes in the content of the article itself.

Subheadings (In H2, H3,H4)

The subheadings in the article are the main points that the article deals with, which are hierarchically divided, H2, which is the most important, followed by H3. It is important that the keyword exists in the subheadings.

Note: The keyword should be used wisely and intelligently, we did not put places upstairs, in order to make you do it automatically without understanding.

Look at it from this direction: if there’s a topic about keywords and how to use them, like this one.

It is natural that the title of the article and the link of the article and description contain the word, and it is natural that the word is repeated in many places while dealing with the subject.

Keep in mind the places we have taken up, but this must be at the expense of the quality and context of the world.

It is worth mentioning that Google is constantly evolving in how to understand keywords intelligently, and has been able to understand the keyword around which each web page revolves, even if it is not used in the positions we mentioned above.

Keyword tips you should follow.
